Tripawd Timeout
YES! I know! It’s been quite awhile since I checked in here. Been having a little “legal” trouble as of late. I’ve been in something (according to the chick) called Tripawd Time Out.
It all started a few weeks ago when I discovered I could open the “garbage cabinet” and rifle through that plastic bag thing where they hide all the GOOD food. You know what I’m talkin’ about, right?… empty cat food cans, old bones, the crap they collect in the vacuum canister??? Uh huh… the gourmet selection.
Well….”she” came home once or twice and caught me in the act. <eyeroll>
Bad for me.
But DANG, that girl has a mouth on her!!! You would think it was the first time in her life she ever met a 3-legged dog that could do something totally amazing….like open a cabinet door with their nose. Geesh!

You and Monkeybutt Tosca would be good buddies, for shur! She likes to shop in the garbage cabinet, too, although lucky for me, she doesn’t know how to open it on her own! She got into some old fermenting coleslaw right before our trip to Oregon, and we had to drive with the windows down most of the way there!

Oh Pegz, and they say you can’t teach an old dog new trix! Our beagle figured that trick out when she was a “mature” girl like yourself. All of a sudden, she realized a little nose-poke or two, and Hello Snack Time!
We had to start tying the cabinets shut with a dish towel. (Hope “She” doesn’t read this… I don’t want to give her any ideas for keeping you outta there!)

Oh, Pegz, I do love a lady who appreciates gourmet food. When I was a little bitty boy my bipods had a cheapo plastic food holder, but Angel Merlin and I bumped into it one day and the lid fell off. It really scared Merlin (but not MEEEE!) and he never messed with the food holder again. Out of pure respect for my brother, I also stayed well away from it. But not because I’m scared….

Oh Pegz, my MB brother Buster would LOVE you! He doesn’t like being on the diet my mom and dad have him on. If he could figure out how to open the door, he’d be all over it (I figured it out, but I can’t show him, since I’m up here in Heaven, and I don’t think Finchy wants to show him because then Buster would get in even more trouble at home).
