There’s a New Butt in Town
Well, I guess it was bound to happen at some point. She brought home another one.
This woman is deranged. How does she expect a Tripawd Warrior Princess to maintain any dignity with all these MonkeyButts running around? (For those of you who have not been following along, MonkeyButts are the 4-legged siblings of Tripawds)
Mom says we all have to be nice to him because he came on a rescue transport from a high-kill shelter far away…just like me.
Blah, blah, blah.
The little MonkeyButt’s name turns out to be…get this….SIR Polly.
<snort> As if there is any more room for royalty in THIS house.

Hang on a sec. It’s a “sir” but it’s a “Polly?” Is that short for polliwog? I know we’re supposed to be nice and all, but it’s a cat. What are you planning to do with it? Will it fit in the crockpot?

People at the shelter were trying to make him sound all cute and stuff so they named him Polly.

Oh Miss Charon…my Mom just wanted you to know that when Barney left, she scoffed a JuJu sock out of the box and it is hanging on our pantry door with the Tripawd ornament. Every day…many times a day…she opens that door and always touches the sock and thinks of love. I don’t totally get it…it makes her cry…but also makes her happy. I know she is thinking of my Spirit Bro and Sis that came before…and I know she worries about me being so (ahem) mature. Whatever….just thanks is what I am trying to say.
